After a cautious start, Léo Bisiaux, in 11th position, quickly returned to the lead and went solo for most of the event to win in 41’36”, ahead of Belgian Yordi Corsus and Van Den Eijnden, who fell by 16 seconds. He was back by 18 seconds.
Puydomois proved to be very competitive in the sand this Sunday, a terrain popular with his Belgian and Dutch rivals, but little or nothing seen in cyclo-cross races in France.

The AG2R Citroën-backed rider was clearly well-prepared to respond in these special conditions, having also prepared well for his return to racing, his final race at the Orée d’Anjou cyclo-cross on 18 December.
Next weekend there will be an important meeting in honor of Auvergnat. He will play as a big favorite in the French Championship to be held in Bagnoles-de-l’Orne, Normandy, with the aim of winning his first national title.
